The trader uses the Moving average in technical analysis to predict potential support and resistance zone. Moving average works as a dynamic support/resistance level.

What is the best moving average setting?

The common moving average period is 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200. These settings can be applied to any chart time frame Example one minute, daily, weekly, etc., depending on the trader's time horizon.  

But here I am talking about trading with only 75 & 200 SMA in only a 4h time frame. This setting works only a 4h   time frame. I backtesting the system for more than 1 year.

When to buy in an uptrend:

We only look for buy when price above the 200 ma line and when we see price respecting the 75 ma or 200 ma lines and at the same time price oversold position in the stochastic indicator. The most important thing is we need to focus the entire time look for a bullish candlestick pattern. In support/demand zone.

When to Sell in a Downtrend:

We only look for sell when price below the 200 ma line and when we see price respecting the 75 ma or 200 ma lines and at the same time price overbought position in the stochastic indicator. The most important thing is we need to focus the entire time looking for a bearish candlestick pattern. In Resistance/supply zone.

When to Buy/Sell in a Sideway/ranging market:

if we see in the market not respecting any moving average. all moving average is flattening then we can sell/buy using stochastic overbought and oversold position. but we have to take confirmation with the candlestick pattern.

When to Buy/Sell in a Channel/ranging market:

Some times we see price making a channel in the chart. then how we can buy sell using moving average. when you see a channel creating in your chart then basically moving average make some gaping between them and price not respect also moving average some time respect 200 ma. we can buy/sell using the stochastic indicator. follow my Example.

Moving average cross over the trading system: 

its call death cross, some people look for moving average coss over. that means faster moving average coss the slower moving average. like 75 ma cross 200ma upside down in the uptrend then initially its a trend changing reversal point.  some people look for it to catch the new trend. but the trading system is in my experience we have to focus on a trend line breaking trading system. when we see a trend line break then a death coss over happens then we confirmed the trend will be shited as soon as possible. see my Example below.
